Your right to privacy is one of our primary concerns and we guard your personal information with the same diligence we apply to safeguarding our own personal or sensitive information. To that end –

• We will only collect information that is relevant to your transaction or the services we provide;
• Personal information will only be disclosed in the execution of the purposes for which it is collected or as specified by law. Any requirement to disclose personal information to our agents, service providers or government authorities will always be done in accordance with our privacy principles;
• Somerset Patchwork will never sell personal information (including mailing and emailing lists) to anyone unless we have your permission to do so;
• You are free to ask what personal information about you that we are holding – contact us by telephone or email

We recommend that you exercise care when purchasing merchandise from Somerset Patchwork, as the following conditions apply –

• We are not obliged to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind;
• Once delivery has occurred, refunds or replacements will only be provided for goods that are proven to be faulty or do not match their original description;
• You must notify us immediately of your intention to return goods purchased, stating the reason for their return and returns must be made within a reasonable time frame  (15 days for goods sold to customers within Australia and 6 weeks for international sales);
• Items being returned must be in their original condition and packaging, together with evidence of purchase and payment (i.e. invoice &/or receipt). Specifically, fabrics may not be cut, dyed or washed and all fabric packs, bundles and kits must be complete;
• Copyright law precludes us from accepting returns of patterns and books;
• Refunds or replacements are at management’s discretion and will only be for the value of the goods (i.e. excludes original and return shipping and handling charges). Refunds will only be applied to the same credit card used for the original purchase transaction;
• When returning goods, please ship them to Somerset Patchwork’s address shown on the “Contact” page of this website.

Somerset Patchwork ships orders by Australia Post and other freight providers as necessary or prudent. We can ship to destinations anywhere in the world. Payment is required prior to shipment and orders will be shipped within 10 working days of receipt. Should goods ordered not be available at the time of receipt, we will advise you of expected delays / back-order status.

Shipping times are not something we can guarantee. Typically, delivery within Australia takes 2-10 working days, while deliveries outside Australia can take between 2-4 weeks, depending on the country of destination. Shipping costs on all parcels are calculated by parcel size and weight. Where applicable, tracking reference details will be advised after shipment.

By viewing the catalog, the website, communicating with or conducting business with Somerset Patchwork & Quilting you agree that the laws of the state of Victoria, Australia, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and Somerset Patchwork & Quilting or its affiliates.

Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to and your purchase in our catalog. We reserve the right to make changes to our site, catalog, policies, and these Conditions of Use at any time. You can phone through your booking or come into the shop. Please note phone bookings are held for 1 week only. Your class fee payment must reach us within that time to hold your place in the class.

Class fees are required in full at the time of booking. Don’t forget, we do have a telephone credit card facility.

No refund will be given if you cancel within two weeks before class begins, unless a replacement student can be found.

Unfortunately, you cannot make up a class if you miss one. A full refund will be given if a class is cancelled by us for any reason.

Classes need a minimum of 4 people to proceed, so we suggest you only purchase your final requirements when you know the class will go ahead. Please ring or call in to see how bookings are progressing.

Our Discount Policy: 10% discount applies for the purchase of goods for your class only, once your class fee has been paid in full.

To be fair to other students, please ensure you arrive to your class on time. If you know you will be late, please telephone the shop in advance.

All prices quoted are denominated in Australian currency. For sales to overseas customers, conversion to other currencies will be determined by exchange rates  applied by the financial institution issuing your credit card.

Somerset Patchwork & Quilting reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at their sole discretion which may be deemed suspicious, fraudulent or are unable to supply.

Somerset Patchwork & Quilting grants you a limited license to access and make personal use of this site and not to download (other than page caching) or modify it, or any portion of it, except with express written consent of Somerset Patchwork & Quilting.
