Designed by Sue Ambrose, this beautiful quilt was inspired by various antique blocks from the late 18th century. The original quilt was presented during the documentation process of the British Quilt Heritage project of October 1990 – November 1993.
Pattern contains paper templates, easy to follow instructions and colour pictures of the key blocks.

This is our modern interpretation of a wonderful antique quilt originally made around 1840 for Thomas Sykes, a Quaker from Ohio. Featuring forty-one 10 inch blocks all set on point with varying degrees of difficulty, this quilt
is a beautiful hand-piecing project although some blocks are suitable for machine piecing. A terrific family heirloom quilt.
